Born in Casablanca, Yasmina moved to Los Angeles at a young age, with her film executive dad and family. She attended Hollywood High where she discovered the power of gossip. Yasmina realized that what she knew as an insider in the world of filmmaking could help her get the best assignments for highly regarded publications. She also figured out early on that in order to be a really successful gossip columnist, she needed to remain somehow anonymous and she’s been using a pseudonym ever since. Yasmina moves in Hollywood, Bollywood and Arabwood circles but you’ll never know her — who she really is and what she looks like. And that is how she brings every bit of juicy gossip to you, from her ears, through her fingertips, to your eyes. Yasmina’s work has been published in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Arab News and Filmfare among others. A warning though, because a true lady doesn’t kiss and tell, so you’ll have to use your imagination a bit — real names are never used in Yasmina’s writing.
