The release of superhero smash The Suicide Squad into cinemas through the Middle East on August 5 marked the start of a licensing agreement with the UAE’s Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas as it becomes the new Middle East distribution partner for Warner Bros. Pictures.
Majid Al Futtaim operates 615 screens across eight markets in the Middle East, making it the region’s largest exhibitor, and also runs a large regional film distribution business.

DC Comics adaptation The Suicide Squad, directed by James Gunn, is being released in IMAX and other formats at VOX Cinemas and movie theatres. Warner Bros. Pictures Group is comprised of Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, Warner Animation Group and DC-based film production. Its portfolio of films comprises of worldwide theatrical releases and films premiering exclusively on HBO Max.
