Israeli actress Gal Gadot is currently in the UK shooting new Netflix spy thriller Heart of Stone, starring alongside Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan.
Gadot is playing the title character Rachel Stone in the film, which is directed by Tom Harper, who previously worked on Peaky Blinders. Filming started in March, shooting at Shepperton Studios and on location at Elveden Hall, which featured in The Crown, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Eyes Wide Shut as well as Iceland.
According to reports the film is planned as the start for a franchise in a similar style to the Mission: Impossible films. The film is scripted by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
