Star and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is featured in brief cameo on 'Ms. Marvel'

We all know and love Farhan Akhtar for his turn as Aditya Shroff in Abhishek Kapoor's now cult Hindi film Rock On! and as the director of yet another cult-like Bollywood classic, Dil Chahta Hai, starring Aamir Khan and those now infamous red leather pants.

These days, Akhtar can also be seen on the hottest TV ticket in town, the series Ms. Marvel on Disney+, featuring the first Muslim super-heroine Kamala Khan, played by Canadian-Pakistani actress Iman Vellani.

Akhtar plays the part of Waleed, a sort of Oracle-like character from The Matrix, in that he seems to know right away who Kamala is and all about her super-heroine lineage.

Without giving any spoilers away, in case you have yet to watch the episode which premiered on June 29th, Waleed doesn't stick around for long here. But fans and Marvel aficionados seem to think he may be back. And inshallah, we hope he will be as anything featuring the smoldering Akhtar is a must-watch on our list.
