Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdel Nour is set to star in a new Eid drama series The Role (Dor El Omar). Produced by Dubai broadcaster MBC, the psychological thriller also features Lebanese stars Adel Karam and Talal Jarday.
The series - which will stream on paid subscription platform Shahid VIP from July 15 - is about emotionally disturbed woman Shamas Matar (played by Abdel Nour), who becomes obsessed with the fictional television character Faris Nahas (Karam), while she is also being chased by a criminal gang.
