The Red Sea International Film Festival (RedSeaIFF) in partnership with VOX Cinemas and the MBC GROUP, today announced that renowned director Luca Guadagnino will participate in an intimate In-Conversation, to be held on December 2 at VOX Cinemas Red Sea Mall.
The chat will see the Academy Award-nominated Italian-Algerian director discuss his luminous career to date, including his films A Bigger Splash, Call Me by Your Name and Suspiria. There will be a particular focus on his latest film Bones and All, starring Taylor Russell and Timothée Chalamet, which will screen that evening at the festival.
Bones and All, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival back in September, tells the story of first love between Maren, a young woman learning how to survive on the margins of society and enjoys taking a bite out of her friends once in while, and Lee, an intense and disenfranchised drifter. Russell and Chalamet lead an ensemble cast that includes Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Chloë Sevigny, David Gordon Green, Jessica Harper, Jake Horowitz and Mark Rylance. For Bones and All, Guadagnino was awarded the Silver Lion for Best Director in Venice this year.
The screenplay is by David Kajganich, based on the novel by Camille DeAngelis. Bones and All is an MGM Studios (an Amazon company) acquisition and is distributed by United Artists Releasing in the U.S., Vision Distribution in Italy, and Warner Bros. Pictures in the rest of the world.

The Festival is set to run from December 1 — 10 and will present 131 feature films and shorts from 61 countries in 41 languages from both established and emerging talent.
