The Maison Valentino has tapped Alessandro Beretta as Chief Executive Officer Europe, effective June 1st 2022.
In his role, Beretta now reports directly to Laurent Bergamo, CCO Americas, Europe, Middle East and Brazil driving the expansion of the European market for both the brand's retail and wholesale channels. In alignment with headquarters he will focus on the implementation of client and colleague centric strategy, leveraging digital transformation and couture clientele-ing to guarantee an optimal client journey.
Beretta is a graduate of the Università Bocconi in Milan, which was founded in 1902 and was the first Italian university to grant a degree in economics. He has a Master in CEMS and prior to Nike, held various roles at Procter & Gamble, both in his native Italy as well as at the company's Swiss headquarters and in London.
In his new assignment as CEO Europe, Beretta will act as a Maison Valentino brand ambassador by inspiring a sense of belonging, while also strengthening brand awareness and stimulating company passion with a specific focus on retail engagement and client centricity.
