Middle East Film & Comic Con kicks off in Abu Dhabi

The annual Middle East Film & Comic Con runs over the weekend (March 4-6) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), celebrating 10 years of bringing together film, television and comic lovers from the UAE.

As well as featuring a host of special guests, fans can also take part in a number of special events, including 'Just Dance’ competitions; a cosplay party; workshops on art and animation techniques and various parties. There will also be immersive panels sessions, sneak previews and exclusive film screenings

Celebrity guests include Charlie Cox, who plays Marvel superhero Daredevil in the television series of the same name; actress Nathalie Emmanuel, star of Game of Thrones and recent editions of the Fast and Furious films and acclaimed actress Ming-Na Wen, who played Agent Melinda May in hit series Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, provided the voice of Mulan in Disney’s animated film of the same name and recently starred as Fennec Shand in Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett.

Also appearing will be actor Barry Keoghan, who recently starred in Disney superhero film Eternals; cult star Michael Rooker, from the Guardians of the Galaxy films; Kevin Conroy who provided the voice of Batman in more than 30 films and video games since 1992, and Charles Martinet, voice artist for games Super Mario Bros and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
