The second edition of Arab Fashion Week -- Men's has been announced and will take place in Dubai from the 28th to the 30th of June, 2021. The inaugural edition took place from the 28th to the 30th of January of this year and was presented by the Dubai-based Arab Fashion Council in partnership with Facebook, Inc.
Over the three days in January, 15 regional and international designers from the UAE, Lebanon, Iran, United Kingdom and France each presented their collections virtually achieving over 40,500,000 views on Facebook Inc and online readership more than 500 million.
Some of the Milestones achieved during this pandemic year include partnerships with the Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Design District to mobilize designers to produce PPE to support health sector front line workers. The Arab Fashion Council and Marie Claire Arabia launched the Beirut Fashion Relief Initiative to support the creative sector whose businesses were impacted. Also together with the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the Arab Fashion Council co-presented “Arab Designers in Paris” and “Parisians in Dubai” a creative showroom exchange to showcase the talented designers of Paris and Arab Fashion Weeks in respective new markets.
Arab Fashion Week's October edition was broadcast live to over 2 billion global users.
The application process for designers wishing to showcase their collections on the catwalk in June is currently open.
