Congratulations are due to Salma Hayek Pinault, who can currently be seen in both Chloé Zhao's Eternals and House of Gucci, directed by Ridley Scott.
The Lebanese Mexican actress and producer received her well deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Friday. Her husband, Kering Chairman and CEO François-Henri Pinault and their daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault were on hand to celebrate the event, along with Zhao and Adam Sandler, who called Hayek "an amazing person," adding that "you know, down-to-earth is a good phrase about Salma. She's nice to everybody ... She's an incredible actress, but honestly the nicest girl."
Hayek posted about it on her Instagram page, adding "we’re all made of stardust!" To which celebrities from Anthony Hopkins to Zoe Saldana added their congratulations.
"Try to be better. Try to find the joy in what you do," Hayek said during the ceremony to unveil the star, pointing to her own struggles as a young Latina actress in Hollywood. "Work hard. Prepare. Don't care what anybody says. But most importantly, don't listen to yourself when you bring yourself down.''
