Three treats to love this Valentine's Day

One hint: it's all about taste this V-day 2022.
Three treats to love this Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is always a tricky holiday. For one, if you're single it's hardly cause for celebration, and if you've got a significant other, you must come up with exactly the right gift that says "I love you" without trying too hard, or too little.

So, we've got three favourites at MIME that we wanted to share, just in time for a shopping trip to your local mall.

Chocolates by Patchi

There is no better way to show you care than by buying some good quality chocolate for your loved one. And Patchi has that extra bonus of offering a taste when you shop at their stores. It's extra nice to buy something for someone and get a little gift for yourself, and a freebie at that. So, indulging in Satchi chocolates is always a win-win situation.

We love the Chocolate Noir Chips avec Blueberry which come in a box of 27 and are both fragrant and crunchy, two things to love in chocolate. You can pick them up at your local Patchi shoppe. But of course, if you wish to go red heart traditional with a box in the shape of love, they have that too.

Perfume by Fueguia 1933

It's quite recently that Fueguia 1833 founder Julian Bedel has gotten into the Oud family of fragrances but boy, is he good at making more intense scents! So our favourite for the season and the holiday is Msheireb, which combines the sultry notes of Sandalwood with the warmth of Amber and the fresh floral tone of Rose, a must in any fragrance worth loving. Created by Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to honour her mother HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Msheireb is an ode to Sheikha Moza's relentless mission of "empowering the powerless and giving voice to the voiceless."

The fragrance is available online but also at the new Fueguia 1833 shoppe inside Bloomingdales Dubai. But also at select Qatar museums in Doha.

The pink Medusa Icon watch by Versace

Now this is on the higher end, price-wise, but of course, it's Versace, it's pink and it tells time -- like how long you and your loved one have been together, how late they are to your next date, etc. Not to mention that this special pink edition is a celebration of couples in love.

Medusa, a symbol of beauty and the icon of strong, brave, and emancipated women, stands proud in the center of the dial, seeming to reach out to us. The three-dimensional image is given prominence by the color contrast between the pink design, with depth conveyed through details rendered in deeper tones, and the delicate IP champagne of the elegantly textured dial. A black cabochon adorns the crown. The pink leather strap with a metal loop echoes the Medusa and adds to the sense of light, giving the watch a young, contemporary personality with a hit of frivolity.

The watch is available now in Versace stores, at authorized retailers and on Versace.com.
