The folks behind the Middle East Now Festival in Florence are dedicated to spreading the word on cinema and culture from their beloved MENA Region. While typically the annual event would take place in the Spring, the arrival of a worldwide pandemic made that appointment impossible to keep. But never ones to let an obstacle stop them, festival co-founders Lisa Chiari and Roberto Ruta held the MENOW in the early Fall of 2020.
