Just in time for Nowruz, Nowness has posted a trio of videos that we really really love. They include Iran-E-Man directed by Naghmeh Pour -- a visual poem woven from the richness of Iran, collaborating with Iranian artists to support the women’s revolution.

But also Beginnings: Marjane Satrapi, which draws inspiration for the French-Iranian director and graphic novelist to reflects on her early influences and the imprint of her heritage. The film is part of a series by Chiara Clemente. Shot in Satrapi’s colorful studio in the Marais district of Paris, the short is a new chapter in Clemente’s Beginnings series for the Sundance Channel in which cultural icons reveal the experiences that set them on their paths.

And last, but not least Photo Booth, where Roxy Rezvany goes behind the curtain of a station photo booth, as one couple’s relationship and immigration struggles are laid bare. Roxy Rezvany is herself of Iranian and Malaysian-Chinese descent, and the film was shot in a single take.
